The Gold Standard in Water Purification

Reverse osmosis pushes water through a semi-permeable membrane that blocks virtually all dissolved contaminants. The result is exceptionally pure water that tastes clean and is free of the minerals, chemicals and trace contaminants found in typical tap water.

What RO Removes

Lead & heavy metals

Chlorine & chloramines

Nitrates & nitrites

Fluoride

Arsenic

Dissolved solids (TDS)

Bacteria & viruses

Pesticides & herbicides

Under-Sink vs. Whole Home RO

Under-Sink System

Installed beneath a single kitchen sink, providing purified water at a dedicated faucet. Ideal for drinking and cooking water at a lower cost of entry.

  • ✓ Lower installation cost
  • ✓ Dedicated drinking water tap
  • ✓ Easy filter replacement
  • ✓ Most common choice for homes

Whole Home System

Installed at the main water line, providing RO-quality water to every tap, shower and appliance in the home.

  • ✓ Purified water at every outlet
  • ✓ Protects all pipes & appliances
  • ✓ Best for well water or high TDS
  • ✓ Maximum whole-home protection

Frequently Asked Questions

How does reverse osmosis work?
RO forces water through a semi-permeable membrane under pressure. The membrane has pores small enough to block dissolved salts, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses and most other contaminants. The rejected contaminants are flushed away and clean water is stored in a tank.
How much water does an RO system waste?
Traditional RO systems use 3 to 4 gallons of water for every 1 gallon of purified water produced. Modern high-efficiency systems reduce this significantly. We can recommend efficient systems that minimize wastewater.
Does RO water taste different?
Yes. Most people find RO water tastes noticeably cleaner and crisper because dissolved minerals, chlorine and other taste compounds are removed. Many systems include a remineralization stage to add beneficial minerals back if preferred.
How often do RO filters need replacing?
Pre-filters and post-filters typically need replacement every 6 to 12 months. The main RO membrane lasts 2 to 5 years depending on water quality and usage. We include a maintenance schedule with every installation.
Can I connect my refrigerator to an RO system?
Yes. We can connect your refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser to your under-sink RO system so your ice and chilled water are also purified. This is one of the most popular add-ons we install.
Is reverse osmosis better than a water filter?
RO is the most thorough residential purification available, removing contaminants that standard carbon filters cannot including dissolved solids, fluoride and nitrates. For drinking and cooking water RO is the gold standard. Combining a whole home filter with an RO drinking system gives the best whole-home protection.
